Kyle XY is an American drama television series about Kyle, a boy who wakes up in the forest outside of Seattle, Washington with no memory of his life up until that point. The series follows Kyle's emotional development as he tries to understand the mysteries of who he is, such as why he has no belly button or why he never remembers being small. The show premiered June 26, 2006. The pilot was available for free on the iTunes Music Store before the show aired.[1] The program will also air on the ABC network on Fridays at 9:00/8:00 Central; the first network airing was on June 30, 2006. ABC Family has ordered 10 episodes for the first season.[2] The basic premise of Kyle XY is similar to John Doe, although it was supposedly created before John Doe became a series.[3]
