(detailed information about this entry from Wikipedia)
Rescue Me is an American TV comedy-drama that premiered on the FX Network in 2004. Rescue Me focuses mainly on the professional and personal lives of New York City firefighters after the September 11, 2001 attacks. The show stars Denis Leary, who plays the role of New York City fireman, Tommy Gavin, a main character whose life could best be described as full of torment and chaos.
Tommy has to struggle with the loss of his cousin and best friend Jimmy Keefe, who died on September 11th, 2001 and frequently visits Tommy in visions. The show begins with Tommy separated from his wife, living in a house across the street from their marital house. He is bad-tempered, hypocritical, manipulative, and a relapsed alcoholic, all of which make him unusually unsympathetic for a lead character. But in all fairness, Tommy struggles to reconcile his family together as he loves his kids very much and desires to get back together with his wife.

- In Episode 2-11, "Bitch", Tommy's hockey helmet is seen with the "W 6" logo on the front. Among the dead were Leary's cousin, Jerry Lucey, and childhood friend, Lt. Thomas Spencer.
