Story

The story concerns Jerome Platz (Minghella), an impressionable young man and unusual artist, whose just been accepted to the Strathmore Institute, a prestigious art college in New York City. It's when he meets the girl of his dreams (Sophia Myles) that he's desperate to impress her with his talent. But in the cutthroat world of art, Jerome has much more on his plate to worry about including favoritism, hypocritical teachers, backstabbing and desperation. But it only gets worse when a serial killer is terrorizing the campus, known only as the Strathmore Strangler. Could Jerome have possibly found himself an angle for success, both in love and in career?
